Doki Quest: Save the Maiden

Welcome to DOKI QUEST
One proud phantom thief's journey to steal the heart of the fair Fantome Lady.
Simple, right? Well… not really. Standing between you and your one true are challenges specially designed to test your timing, coordination, and endurance.
A story-adventure game made by fans, for the fans. Play the levels, discover the Easter eggs, and—of course—SAVE THE MAIDEN!
Succeed, and you'll claim the greatest reward. Fail, and you'll come face to face with the consequences of your actions.
This game was made for the Doki Jam that had the theme of Chain Reactions, which our team interpreted as actions in the game that branch into multiple endings!

I loved it.
Thoughts:
-Art is so cute and feels good to look at.
-Tomato catch soundtrack was hilarious.
-Visual novel aspect of the game and the story are simple but nice. Also, respect to whoever wrote the puns.
-Long neck Doki.
-I see that Undertale reference, nice.
-Me too D.A.D, I love women, me too.
Now the less good thoughts:
-Some letters are harder to read due to the pixelation, like C/O, but that might be just me.
-Some gameplay felt clunky, like tomato catch's controls felt overly sensitive for the tomato trails and the Doki Hell's rockets being borderline impossible to dodge (
might be skill-issue on my part).Overall, props to the team for creating a very silly, enjoyable experience. It was really goddamn fun.
P.S.: WHAT WAS MINT GOING TO SAY? (I died 3 times to the darn D.A.D rockets pls send help)
Big fan of how the game turned out. The sprites' and the music's high quality give the game a much more polished look and the gameplay is smooth and enjoyable.
The game is so cute ☺️☺️☺️
